Christmas at Grandmas
Merry Christmas ever one!!!! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas this year!!! I sure did!
We had a wonderful time at our grandmas P's yearly Christmas party this year(Dec 19)! Being around all moms family at this time of year is such a joy because some of them we don't get to see very often.
What blessings we have! There is never a time when it's alright to be unthankful! Especially around this time of year when we are just over loaded with wonderful gifts, we have soooo much that it's scary! But all the glory be to our Lord Jesus Christ who is the giver of ever good gift!
May God be in your hearts minds and souls!!!!

Phillips, Craig, and Dean Concert
We were really blessed to be able to attend a concert last Friday featuring Phillips, Craig and Dean. They sang some Christmas songs, but also some of their regular worship ones. I've enjoyed listening to their music for a long time, so it was pretty exciting to hear them live, and also get to meet them!

Play-Dough
Today I made homemade play-dough for my two youngest sisters, Sophia and Angelise. It's very fun to make homemade - especially in winter-because the play-dough is hot, and is like a massage to the hands. Mom used to make it for us older girls when we were little. :)
The Recipe Is:
1 cup water
1/2 cup salt
1 Table-Spoon vegetable oil
2 tea-spoons cream of tartar
several drops of food coloring
1 cup of white flour
And away you go! Heat the first 4 ingredients in a pan on the stove until it boils (stirring constantly) . . . take it off the heat and mix in the food coloring. Stir fast as you add the flour and then scoop out onto a floured counter and knead for a minute or two. (It will be hot, but your hands will adjust)
There you have it! Fun fun fun! I would advise using red or green food coloring . . . I tried to make a nice yellow play-dough but it ended up not yellow at all. Just the color of butter cookies. The food coloring won't stain your hands.
Sorry there is no pic's. My sisters took the cameras for the weekend. :)
God bless! Merry Christmas!

Little Dicken's Christmas
Me, Jacob, Linds and John.
Grandma, me, Jacob and John.(waiting for the parade)
Grandma and I.
John, Jacob and Linds in the restaurant waiting for there food.
Lindsey and I (very cold)!
Waiting for the parade.
Last night Lindsey, Jacob, John and I went to Little Dicken's Christmas with our grandma!
It was really fun! We went to a little restaurant for dinner and we saw the Mount Pleasant Christmas parade(it was one of the longest parades I had ever seen)!
Though we all got Very cold it was still lots of fun! And it felt very much like a Christmas movie with perfect amount of snow falling the whole time and with the buzz of people around us.
God blesses us far more then we deserve!

Old fashioned Fun
Today, Annie, Liz and I decided to do a photo shoot with the Colonial dresses we'd made! Its hard to believe how differently people dressed back then. After taking the pictures I decided to see how long I could keep mine on and still go on with daily life. I'm afraid I didn't last long! Oh well. We had a blast dressing up!
