What fun we had the day after Thanksgiving!

We got up at 5:30 a.m and went to meet our Grandma Pfeiffer at STAR Bucks in the Midland mall! It was such a fun time though we never buy much that day.

But it was fun to be out in the festivity and all!

What a blessing God is!

What a wonderful Thanksgiving we had!

Our cousins(the Bargers)came over to share a feast with us and to enjoy the holiday together! We went for our traditional walk down the drive after we ate.

We also shared music together! Which was really fun, because my cousin(Alison) brought her piccolo with her and I had my flute and we did a do-o together with the flute and the piccolo(spelling) which was really fun! LOL! And we also sang some Christmas carols together which got us all in the spirit!(LOL! We took no pics of that sry!)

What a blessed time we had together!

And we have so many things to be thankful for around this time of year!

Christmas Tree and Fire Again (And Curls)

Hi! I thought I'd try to post a better picture of the Christmas tree, but a tree is one of those things that's really hard to photograph. The lighting has got to be just so perfect.

The middle picture is me after I did my hair in rag curls. It was like having a temporary "new look" and was very fun! I'll be trying it again sometime . . . it just takes so long to 'rag-up' all my hair!

Bottom picture is a delightful blaze our great brother Gideon made for us.

The other night Linds and Chloe decided to make the first patch of Christmas cookies! They were sooooo good and it got us in the spirit!

The boys also put a fire in the fire place which was sooo fun too! (pic of it above) It always feels so festive and cozy!

We have so much to be thankful for this time of year! Family,friends,a free nation but most importantly Christ's birth! He came into the world to save us all from our sins so that one day we could live with him for ever in eternity! That is the best gift of all!

God's Life Giving Word

I just wanted to encourage all you girls to READ GOD'S WORD every day.

Its easy to think sometimes, that 'Oh, yeah you know its good to read the Bible, I mean, its a good thing to do' without really remembering just how powerful it is, and how much our spirit NEEDS God's word just like our physical body needs food. The word of God is powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart! It builds and strengthens our faith, it gives encouragement and guidance. I know you've heard all this said before, but its easy to forget just how vital the word of God is to our walk with him!

Remember today that it IS powerful. When you open it up and start reading, read with the mindset that these are the words of God, which we have the privilege to read in our own homes. If your faith is being tried, if you're feeling discouraged, run to the Lord--open his word. You will be encouraged. God wants to speak to you, and he wants fellowship with you.

He LOVES you and me in an amazing way! No matter what we're going through here on this earth, He deserves our praise and devotion.

What a fun day we all had last Friday!

It was Gideon 13th birthday and Lindsey was the day after that so we had a party for them! It was really fun, a lot of moms family came, and Lindsey and Gid were very blessed!

Lindsey is now 2o and Gideon is 13!!!!! We had 5 teens on Gids birthday and on Lindsey there was only 4 again. :( Cry with me people! Lindsey is done with being a teen!!!

Please pray for them both as they each go in to a new part of life!
